Described by the BBC as a 'one-woman electronic avalanche' Caro Snatch has scaled a somewhat steep learning curve after only touching her first musical instrument 8 years ago by default after back surgery. 2 EPs (Xstatic Rcds & Phonector), a few compilations ('Girl Monster' on Chicks on Speed, Wired Records & La Mue) and her fair share of gigs later, she has recently unleashed her debut album 'Es muss sein' on Phonector.
Caro was nurtured in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, then took on Berlin and is now based in Manchester. This hardware poetess defies category as she emits her own brand of funky deep broken beats, fat bass, unconventional structures and multi-lingual word manipulation. The 'Es muss sein' tour continues in 2007 spanning Europe and hopefully Canada.
She is also producing the soundtrack for a British rock'n'roll drama feature film directed by Pinball films (UK). This track 'De Nada' was written whilst touring and is exclusive for the SSS 'Supopon' compilation.
