Adriano was born in 1973 in Pieve di Soligo, near Treviso, Italy.
He studied sculpture and graphic art and attended the Accademia Di Belle Arti in Rome. He soon started painting, lived as an artist, performing in galleries in Rome, London and Paris. During that period, his art mainly represented Christian icons reviewed in technological shade, and psychotropic drugs famous brands.
Electro music has always been his great passion. When he was 17 he used to run away from home to Movida, a famous club in Jesolo where he would dance EBM and acid house till the sunrise. He already knew he would have produced that kind of music, sooner or later.
What about now? He says:
“I like to influence the environment around me with my music, my colours and my style. I like the 80’s glamour style mixed up with punk taste. I love fashion, especially when it’s a pure form of art: Alexander Mc Queen and John Galliano are my favourite stylists, because they create exactly what they want, without respecting any rule. And I consider myself as a nonconformist and free person.”
In 2001 Adriano produced a music for a ballet performed during a party dedicated to Madonna, in Milan for a concert. He worked with many stylists as a music adviser, and in some cases as a personal composer, as for the outlandish and amazing Holly Krueger.
He lived for 4 years in Paris, where once again he worked with stylists, and enlarged the frequentation of the world’s most transgressive and cool clubs.
He’s a strange person, full of energy and colour, but serious and peaceful at the same time.
It was in 2000 when he first decided to open the new millennium with an ambitious musical project, in the not easy field of electro music. It took two years before he decided to send his work to International DJ Gigolo in Munich. DJ Hell, the label’s founder and boss, immediately contacted him to propose a five years exclusive contract: Adriano officially became the first and unique Italian producer for the famous label.
His first single “Macho Boy”, released world-wide in August 2003, went sold-out in many countries after just few days. The single has been performed during the opening of a Versace Houte Couture show. Also present in the Givenchy Compilation created for Japan, in Nag Nag Nag in London, and in Radio Colette in Paris. The single has become a fashion cult worldwide.
Ten months later International DJ Gigolo released his second single 'My Boyfriend Is Very Sexy', reviewed by the Italian magazine Blowup with words that sound more or less like this: “Four electro monsters with body beat jaws. Digital fever. Abrasive shots. Icy cathedrals of bleeps. Imagine a more futuristic, perverted, and cutting version of Paul Hardcastle and you’ll be near the final result. Think of Art of Noise in a ghetto version and you’ll be even nearer. Cyberporno trax.”
Adriano played and performed in many occasions with DJ Hell, Savas Pascalidis, David Carretta, Terrence Fixmer, T.Raumschmiere, Tiga and others. Sometimes he's accompanied by strange creatures, professional actors, who interact with the music with minimal-porn, chic-electro-clash choregraphies, creating surrealistic and strong atmospheres.
Out in May 2005 came the debut album 'Pornography', with the related tour, in Europe and then worldwide.
Adriano is also working on a video art project: 'The Adriano Sex Experience Video', projected during his shows, containing ossessive porno and glamour shots stolen to people who get in contact with Adriano, famous and not.
In october 2006 the new single 'Transfiguration' was out on Space Factory Rcds, the David Carretta’s label, with 4 different versions.
The new album will be out to the beginning of 2007.
Meanwhile your favourite netlabel proposes an alternative version of this 'Transfiguration' single containing 2 new Adriano's versions plus two exclusive SSS remixes by Tampopo and Mihai Popoviciu!
